Specialist Training Spring & Summer 2021

In light of Covid-19 most of our face to face training has been suspended. In the meantime we will be providing regular webinars via Microsoft Teams. With the exception of the Cocaine and Crack Use webinar, these are free to attend if you work in a relevant service in NI, and provided on behalf of the Public Health Agency.

They do not replace the need for full day training when it resumes but will provide some relevant, specialist support and information to those who work in a range of sectors such as:

    • homelessness
    • criminal justice
    • drugs/alcohol
    • community pharmacy and
    • mental health

All webinars are now extended to two hours.

These bite sized chunks will include sessions on:

    1. Cocaine and Crack Use (£30 per participant)
    2. Needle and Syringe Exchange Training
    3. Opioid Overdose Response: Naloxone Administration
    4. Opioid Overdose Response: Naloxone Training for Trainers (2 sessions)
    5. Reducing Injecting Related Harm
    6. Pregabalin - what's the deal?
    7. Groin Injecting webinar

Please use the booking icon in the relevant page if you require training in any of the above courses.

If you require other training or further information please contact us at [email protected].
