We’re so proud and thankful for everything our staff are doing in the face of pressure to help the vulnerable in your community to cope better with the impact of coronavirus in their lives.
Here’s just a few examples of some of our teams rising to the challenge and supporting our communities.
Jason Whatley is Project Manager with Extern’s Cookstown-based MUST Hostel, which offers accommodation, support and help, tailored to the specific needs of single people aged 18-65 who are homeless.
Lauren McCann is a Harm Reduction Drug and Alcohol Outreach Worker, in Extern’s Southern Low Threshold team, which continues to work during the coronavirus lockdown with people whose lives are impacted by problematic drug and alcohol use.
Rebeca Martin-Greenwood is Assistant Manager of Extern’s Alcohol Housing Support Team, which is continuing to work during the lockdown with adults in Belfast who are at risk of homelessness as a result of their chronic or severe alcohol use
Sharon Hartwell is a project worker with Extern’s Positive Learning project, which provides vocational training to people who find themselves on the margins of society.
