Paul and Jim from the Erne & Melvin fish hatchery delivering 500 Lough Erne trout to kick start the fishing at the site of our new Fishing Village on the outskirts of Enniskillen. This project is being kick started through Externs Enterprise Fund and will be working with a number of partner agencies to develop a regional angling hub using the medium of fishing to address a number of individual and community needs.

The donation of the fish was a poignant final gesture of support from the team at the Erne & Melvin Enhancement Co., as due to a cut in government funding their company was forced into closure on the 26th April.
