Extern's Outreach Support Service (EOSS) Celebrates Pride Month
Extern's Outreach Support Service (EOSS) in Limerick recently marked Pride Month with a vibrant Pride Party, celebrating diversity, inclusion and equality within the local community.
Creating a Welcoming, Inclusive Space
The EOSS office was transformed with colourful Pride flags and decorations, creating a warm and welcoming environment where staff, service users and visitors could come together to celebrate and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Community Spirit and Delicious Contributions
A special thank you goes to Donna, whose fantastic selection of Pride-themed cupcakes added a colourful and delicious touch to the celebrations.

Raising Awareness Through Partnership
We'd also like to recognise David, one of our service users, who took the initiative to invite GOSSH (Gender, Orientation, Sexual Health, HIV) to join the celebrations as guest speakers. Their engaging and informative session sparked meaningful conversations about LGBTQ+ issues, helping to promote greater understanding, acceptance and inclusion across the service.
David, working alongside his key worker Casey, also prepared a wonderful spread of food and organised a lively karaoke session, bringing everyone together for an afternoon filled with music, laughter and connection.
Building Safe, Inclusive Spaces
This Pride Month celebration was a wonderful example of partnership, community spirit and the positive impact of creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone feels respected, valued and free to be themselves.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, and to all who took part in making this Pride Month celebration so memorable.
