MUST Hostel, a vital accommodation and support service for homeless adults aged 18-65 in Mid-Ulster and South Tyrone, is seeking dedicated Bank Workers to join our team.

At MUST Hostel, we provide tailored support in a 20-bed facility for both males and females, focusing on a holistic approach to meet the unique needs of each service user. We are also a Probation Approved Hostel, collaborating with PBNI to supervise individuals under licence or other restrictions.

As a Bank Worker, you'll play a crucial role in delivering our modern supported housing service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a dynamic environment.

About the role

The Short Stay Break Service meets the needs of young people (8-17) and their families by providing an alternative to placement for 4 days and 3 nights, social, educational, cultural and recreational break at an Extern youth facility.​ Short Stay Break Service staff engages the child or young person in a range of activities and can help him/her examine lifestyle issues while the social worker intervenes with the carers thus allowing the child or young person to return to their living arrangements with the crisis being averted.

About the role

Extern is recruiting a Project Worker to join Janus Justice, a specialist programme operating across Limerick City, County, and Co. Clare. The project supports young people aged 12–24 who are involved in offending behaviour and are at high risk of custody, escalating anti-social behaviour, or disengagement from Youth Diversion initiatives.

As a Project Worker, you will deliver intensive one-to-one interventions tailored to each young person’s needs. The role focuses on addressing the underlying risk factors for offending, developing pro-social skills and behaviours, encouraging community involvement, and providing experiential learning opportunities. You will also work closely with families to strengthen relationships and support positive change at home.

About the role

This is a new role within Extern to support the Head of Safeguarding (HoS). To assist in the provision of effective and efficient safeguarding procedures and support the Head of Safeguarding in assurance to all companies in the Extern Group. The post holder will have specific responsibility for assisting the Head of Safeguarding in relation to the preparation of internal investigations, compilation of statistical reports and coordinating the support for the Head of Safeguarding in organising specific safeguarding training and reporting. ​​
