Gaisce Awards Ceremony-Southside Youth Initiative Limerick
Four remarkable young individuals from the Southside Youth Initiative YDP have received bronze GAISCE awards. Led by Paul Darby, Gaisce National Development Manager, the ceremony was attended by proud family members, friends, Juvenile Liaison Officers, and Extern staff, highlighting the dedication and resilience of these youths.
Their journey to achieve the prestigious GAISCE award was marked by a diverse array of activities, each contributing to their personal growth and development.
Their efforts were further bolstered by generous financial support from Gaisce and the Extern Innovation Fund, totaling €1000. This funding facilitated essential requirements such as safe passes, an Adventure Journey to Spike Island, and residential overnight stays, along with providing resources for the woodwork group.
