Do it by yourself or get a group of friends or colleagues to do it as a team challenge and have some fun reaching the top together!

Slieve Donard

Take on Northern Ireland’s highest mountain, Slieve Donard, which stands at a whopping 850m!

The Mourne Mountain hike is 9km long and will take you approximately 4-6 hours, and on a clear day you’ll be rewarded with extraordinary views of the Isle of Man, Wicklow, Donegal, Wales, as well as the long sands of Newcastle Beach!

Wanting more of challenge? Why not tackle Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, which stands at a colossal 1,039m, set not far from the Atlantic Ocean, offering unique views of the coast and the surrounding mountains of the MacGillycuddy Reeks.

This challenge will take you approximately 4-6 hours and is for the more experienced walkers due to the challenging terrain.

Choose your own

If you don’t fancy either of the challenges above, you can pick one to suit yourself!

From the Mourne mountains in County Down to Mount Errigal in Donegal, there’s so many beautiful mountains and hills to climb across the island of Ireland to give yourself a real challenge!
