A LIFE-CHANGING PROGRAMME FOR 14 TO 24- YEAR-OLDS

GET IN TOUCH

So, what is Third Space?

Third Space is a fun, friendly six-month programme for young people, where you can work towards an OCN qualification while taking part in residentials, days out, digital media and outdoor activities.

If you are aged 14-24, and want to try something new and exciting, then this is the project for you!

The programme is run by Extern, and Verbal, the organisation that promotes the power of the spoken and written word.

What sort of things can I expect to do on the programme?

You can choose to take part in a range of exciting activities, including go-karting, high ropes, kayaking, ziplining, and you get to create your own digital storytelling project.

We assist with transport and there’s always snacks provided! Also, some people may qualify for some financial support, so if you are over school-leaving age and not in receipt of EMA, this will be paid directly into your bank account weekly.

So, whether your interests are social, digital, sport or mental wellbeing there will be something in Third Space for you.

Sounds good, but how can it help me?

If you’re aged 14-24 and are looking for a way to develop your personal skills and your self-confidence, then Third Space is just the programme for you.

The project will help you meet new people from other backgrounds, explore your connections with your community, gain confidence and assertiveness, and achieve the goals you set for yourself by working with the Third Space team.

As well as gaining and developing these personal skills, you will be given the chance to gain an Entry Level OCN in Personal Success and Well-being.

What’s the Digital Storytelling part all about?

Quite simply, it’s YOUR opportunity to tell a story about something that matters to YOU.

You’ll work with our team of qualified and experienced digital storytellers to create a short video or film about what matters in your life. What matters is that it is YOUR story, told in YOUR words.

Okay, I’m in! How do I find out more?

Simply call our friendly teams on either 028 9084 0555 (Extern) or 028 7126 6946 (Verbal), or email: [email protected] and someone will get back to you.
