Extern's Belfast-based Dual Diagnosis Street Team (DDST) delivers an intensive outreach support service to individuals who are homeless and rough sleeping.

Our Dual Diagnosis Street Team provided a crucial lifeline to a total of 137 people throughout the year, offering intensive support to people who are chronically homeless and dealing with a mental illness and addiction problem.

If you are homeless or sleeping in the street, we’d like to be able to link with you and provide you with the support you need as as soon as possible.

Our team offers support around drug, alcohol and mental ill-health while working to secure accommodation and link the individual to support services.

HOW CAN I GET HELP?

We operate an open referral for anyone who is homeless with a mental health problem and drug and alcohol issues.
