Working in partnership with Ulster Rugby

One in four people experience a mental health problem in any one year.

That’s someone in every family, workplace and friendship circle. In the UK it's around 14 million people.

Ulster Rugby senior woman support the Extern launch

That's why we are working in partnership with Ulster, to bring communities together to improve mental wellbeing.

Myself, Gillian Leetch-Armstrong and my family have decorated our garden this Christmas to raise funds and awareness in memory of Local man, Lee Barry who died through suicide in August 2020 following a personal struggle with addiction and mental health issues.

We are fundraising in support of Lee’s mother, Alison Barry, who has been raising awareness of mental health in Larne and has raised thousands over the past year for Extern in memory of Lee.

I would greatly appreciate a donation of any size to show your support.

All funds raised will enable Extern to continue to help offer hope of a better future to more families and individuals in the Larne area who are facing challenges with drugs, alcohol and poor mental health right now.

Please share with friends and family, so I can help Extern change more lives. Thank you!
