Extern Organisation Ltd is a charitable company limited by guarantee and set up in 1978 in Northern Ireland.
Extern Ireland Ltd was established in 2004 to administer services in Ireland. Although Extern Ireland and Extern Organisation are two separate legal companies, there is common membership of both the Boards.
Extern Recycle Ltd is a new social economy business launched in December 2007. Based in Mallusk, County Antrim, this venture recycles electronic and computer equipment and provides training opportunities for 24 homeless clients on a weekly basis.
