- Provision of specialised residential placements with enhanced supervision for male Offenders assessed as medium and high risk of re-offending.
- Community Support - Floating Support
- Extern provides approximately 50% of residential beds in Northern Ireland.
Methods
Interventions are considered at every stage of an offender's placement - referral, arrival, planning, service provision, ongoing review and exit. Interventions aim to reduce the risk of re-offending and harm as well as assist with successful re-integration into the community.
